Did Your Kids Come With A User’s Manual?
Parent Stressors
Are you seeking some help for yourself to better manage your own feelings of stress as a busy parent? Working at home or in an office and juggling schedules can become overwhelming. Lack of sleep and a mind that won’t be still makes every task more difficult. Are you struggling to get along with your significant other or another member of the family? After all, we get to choose our friends but we don’t get to pick our family. You might be surprised at how small shifts in expectations and responses on your part can create real change in relationships. It might be nice if we could get the whole family together but that isn’t always realistic and it isn’t always necessary. You can affect change in yourself and your relationships.
Parenting Conflict
Do you and the other adults in your child’s life disagree on how to raise the kids? This can cause a lot of confusion and hurt feelings, and the worst part is that the child you all love so much is stuck in the middle. It might be your own spouse, in your own home. It might be an ex-spouse or a relative. Some families can come together and find ways to parent that are more effective, some can’t. Either way, we will find a way to get the best for you and your family.
